It was learned from Hunan Agriculture Commission that the results of evaluation of 2015 Hunan provincial beautiful villages were released recently. Huangjia village of Tuqiao town, Rucheng county, Jiaotang village of Sidu town, Guidong county, Songbai village of Xiangyindu town, Yongxing county, Gaoping village of Wangxian town, Suxian district, Puxia village of Huatang town, Linwu county, and Sanguan village of Gonghe Forestry Farm, Guiyang county were enrolled into the list. Guiyang county and Guidong county were honored as advanced counties of Hunan socialism new rural construction. Chenzhou city is one of the cities won most of the honors among other cities.

In recent years, Chenzhou city built a batch of new towns and villages by promoting the beautiful village construction with specified principals of “four-beautiful, two-able, and two-land”(beautiful layout, beautiful environment, beautiful life, beautiful civilization, livable and enterprise-adaptable happy homeland and leisure land ), which greatly helped to optimize rural residents’ living condition with brilliant highlights; it also kept to be guided with planning by formulating village construction planning or brief planning on the basis of local condition. Currently, 2941 administrative villages and 23,700 natural villages finished the formulation of brief planning, accounting for 100%; urban-rural overall treatment was carried out as well to improve the purification, lighting up, greening, beautification, and ordering of rural areas and improve the garbage collection and processing mode there as well. Currently, in Chenzhou city, 72,600 street lamps have been installed; 160 greening demonstration towns and counties and 607 greening demonstration villages have been established, accounting for 80% rural environment treatment tasks set for administrative villages. At the meantime, it comprehensively regulated rural housing by carrying “5553” project and well-off new village construction. 201 of the 476 well-off villages have been finished. 2780 of 5558 demonstration regulated housing have been completed. 5590 architectural craftsmen were qualified with relative certificate, which helped to drive 20.145billion yuan direct investments. It also accelerated the transfer of land use rights, cultivated new business entities, promoted the cluster and upgrading of industry, and upgraded town and level financial capacity and village level collective economy to increase farmers’ income.

Till the end of 2015, all administrative villages of Chenzhou city are with collective economy. 1456 villages are with 60,000yuan annual income of village level collective economy. Civilization construction, grassroots organization construction, rural cultural construction, rural public service, rural social security mechanism and modern rural administration mechanism, social assistance system, and publicity of administration and finance were improved as well. At the meantime, some rural cultural facilities and sports rooms were facilitated in rural areas and some folk entertainment organizations were established to enrich local people’ d cultural and entertainment life.
