Chenzhou City’s GDP Hits 201.2 Billion Yuan in 2015

It was learned from Chenzhou Statistics Bureau that Chenzhou city kept the stable increase rhythm and reached steady economic and social development in 2015. According to the accounting, its GDP hit 201.21billion yuan with an increase of 8.5%. First, secondary, and tertiary industry contributed 19.71billion yuan, 109.97billion yuan, and 71.53billion yuan, up 3.9%, 7.1%, and 12.3% respectively.

 

Tertiary industry keeps steady development with stringer delayed effect

Considered for the industries, the 216.9billion yuan fixed assets investments were fulfilled in 2015 with an increase of 19.5% which is 1.3% higher than Hunan provincial level. 14.46billion yuan, 86.2billion yuan, and 116.24billion yuan were finished by the first, secondary, and tertiary industry respectively, up 21.4%, 5.8%, and 32%. The industrial structure of the above three industries were adjusted to be 9.7:54.7:35.6. Tertiary industry held 2.1% higher than last year.
The total retail sales of consumer goods were amounted to 80.96billion yuan with an increase of 12.2% which is 0.1% higher than Hunan provincial level, ranking the 4th place of the province. 41new foreign-funded projects were approved in Chenzhou city. Its total actual use of foreign investments was amounted to USD1.35billion, up 15%. The total foreign trade was USD2.82billion, dropping 38.2%.

 

Market become more vigorous by reform

Till the end of 2015, there were 176,300 market entities available in Chenzhou city, up 9.6%. The registered capitals and operation funds were amounted to 183.352billion yuan, up 30.7%. 31,000 market entities were newly registered in 2015, including 7329 enterprises and 23,000 private business owners. The reform of administrative approval system was further deepened that 140 Chenzhou municipal level items were merged, canceled, or down-passed, accounting for 56.2%. It helped to reduce 62.6% time on approving that the administrative condition and efficiency were greatly improved.

 

More investment were placed on well-being that people’s living condition were kept being improved

In 2015, “well-being 100” projects were fulfilled or over-fulfilled. The financial expense on well-being covered 76.9% of the general public budget; investments on well-being projects were amounted to 16.71billion yuan, up 23.3%; ecological environment investment was amounted to 16.36billion yuan, up 62.7%; 239.1kms of rural roads were completed; 51,000 suits of affordable housings (including reconstruction of shanty towns and rural dangerous houses) were built; and drinking water safety problem encountered by 419,000 rural people were solved as well.

 

67,000 more people were employed in urban area; 49,800 more rural labor were transferred to be employed; and the rate of registered laid-offs in urban areas was 3.59%. According to the sampling survey handled out by the State Statistics Bureau Chenzhou Team that the per capita disposable income of Chenzhou city was 18,108yuan, up 9.2%. Urban residents per capita disposable income was 25,534yuan with an increase of 8.1%, while that for rural residents was 11,778yuan with an increase of 9.2%.
