It was reported that “Safe spring festival transportation, traffic police are with you”- the launching ceremony of 2016 spring festival transportation security work & prize-awarding ceremony of 2015 most beautiful driver was held in Chenzhou Inter-city Bus Station on January 24, 2016, which indicated the opening of 2016 Chenzhou spring festival transportation which will last for March 3, 2016. Zhang Aiguo, one of the municipal leaders of Chenzhou city, announced the opening of the work. Li Xiangyang, another municipal leader of Chenzhou city was present at relative activities.

It is much colder than earlier year, so this year’s spring festival transportation work will be more complicated and severe. As introduced by Deng Guangtan, Deputy Director General of Chenzhou Public Security Bureau and Captain of Traffic Police Detachment, that in order to ensure the security of 2016 spring festival transportation, the traffic polices will work hard with relative subordinate departments of Chenzhou city and try to reach the working targets of “four-no, and four-obvious decrease”.

Deng said, they would pay closer attention on checking work during the spring festival transportation period, especially February 1 to 7- concentrated returning home period for the students and immigrant workers, February 12 to 16 and February 22 to 27- concentrated back tracking period; and during some severe weather days.

About 200 people such as officials of Chenzhou Civilization Office, Chenzhou Traffic Police Detachment, and Chenzhou Road Transportation Commission, the representatives of 2015 most beautiful drivers, and representative drivers of Chenzhou People’s Bus Company, Chenzhou Bus Group, Chenzhou Urban Passenger Transport Joint Group, and taxi companies attended the ceremony.
