It was reported that Cao Jianguo- Deputy Director of Chenzhou Environmental Protection Bureau led an investigation team to check its work on ecological environment evaluation of national key ecological functional zone.

In 2015, Guiyang county seized the chance of the construction of Hunan provincial key ecological functional zone to forcefully implement the ecological projects construction. Great achievements were gained by the county, such as 20.86kms inter-city green channel and 21.3kms tourism road were finished, the qualification rate for 20 major pollution enterprises’ pollution source discharge was up to 96.15%, and etc. At the meantime, it carried out 16 energy saving and emission reduction projects, held the inspection of environment protection, checked 126 enterprises, and settled 468 environment pollution complaints. It also carried out regular inspection on water quality and 20 major pollution enterprises. More than 5500 effective data were collected by the county, which helped to upgrade its ecological environment condition.

After the on-site checking and listening to the working reports of the county, the inspection team highly affirmed Guiyang county’s work on ecological environment evaluation of national key ecological functional zone, and required it to enhance the understanding of the construction and rules and pay closer attention on environment administration. It was also required that the county should enhance the regulation of national ecological transfer payment by forming specified mechanism, playing the best effect of the funds. More attention should be placed on ecological environment protection, especially for one or two key projects to forge a batch of boutique projects with all departments’ efforts.
