Drums, dragon dance, popular tune, and other programs were performed in the entertainment room of Nanfu village, Fenshi town, Linwu county recently that some local villagers were rehearsing for the Spring Festival party of year of monkey. All the programs which highly indicated local folk culture were full of positive energy.

In recent years, Linwu county accelerated rural cultural infrastructure construction, perfected rural public cultural service system, encouraged and supported the improvement of rural traditional cultural events, discovered more folk traditional cultural resources, and guided the new rural construction with mainstream culture, all of which helped to promote sound development of mass cultural activities. Besides the construction of villages and towns comprehensive cultural stations and regulation of rural reading rooms, Linwu county built 225 small entertainment squares, placed 0.578million yuan on providing more publications for 289 rural reading rooms (including 126,582 books), and obtained more financial funds to provide 155 rural reading rooms with more book shelves.

At the meantime, Linwu Media Group and Linwu Literary Federation organized some literature and art workers to carry out arts collection activities and created series of sound works pleased by the masses. Some activities as writing spring couplets freely in some villages and towns around Spring Festival were warmly welcomed by the masses.
