Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City handled scheduling of preparation of 4th Mineral Show on February 14, 2016 and required that all relative departments should try the best to handle the show well, cultivate new driving force, and forge new increasing pole of Hunan province.

Currently, the propaganda, security, investment attraction, and some other work are being handled out well. Great achievements were gained on investment attraction that more than 50 international companies confirmed to attend the show and all the domestic stands have been almost sold out.

Qu Hai stated that it was significant to handle the Mineral Show successfully. All departments should well understand the significance of the show from higher levels as cultivation of new driving force, acceleration of opening up, enhancement of economic power, and upgrading of Chenzhou city’s influence, and should try best to upgrade the show to be an international mineral and gem show which can be compatible with the Tucson Mineral Show on the basis of forging it to be the important support of forging new increasing pole of Hunan province, taking it as the grasp and driving force of sound beginning of 2016, and learning the successful experience of last show.

Qu also stated that currently the investment attraction of the mineral show was being handled out well with good effects, but should be further improved. More attention should be placed on the attraction of top level international and domestic exhibits and more powerful sellers and buyers; connection and coordination with upper level departments should be well handled to finish relative procedures and obtain more favorable policies; propaganda and marketing work of the show should be handled with better effects; better services as layout of the exhibition hall, transportation, security and reception, visiting, talents especially translators and volunteers should be provided for the show; and closer international cooperation should be enhanced to promote the opening up of Chenzhou city.
