It was learned from Chenzhou Development and Reform Commission that Chenzhou paid great attention on promoting the construction of innovative platforms in recent years, which promoted its development of strategic emerging industry, revitalization of industry, transformation and upgrading, and technical reform, as well as sound and rapid social and economic development.

In the beginning of 2015, “high-flux molecular diagnosis national-local lab” of Chenzhou First People’s Hospital was approved by the State Development and Reform Commission. It is the first national innovation platform available in Chenzhou city, which filled up the blank of the city’s national innovation platform. In the end of 2015, the State Development and Reform Commission and the State Science and Technology Ministry issued “notice for releasing 2015 (the 22nd batch) list of qualified national enterprise centers”. The technology centers of Hunan Shizhuyuan Non-ferrous Metals Co., Ltd. and Chenzhou Jingui Silver Co., Ltd. were enrolled into the list, which indicated the “zero” breakthrough of national enterprise center available in Chenzhou city.

Concerned for the application of “Hunan provincial enterprise technology center” organized by Hunan Provincial Development and Development Commission in 2015, “Hunan Greeble New Energy Co., Ltd. Technology Center”, “Chenzhou Shanshan New Material Co., Ltd. Technology Center”, and “China Source 999 (Chenzhou) Pharmacy Co., Ltd. Technology Center” which are from Chenzhou city were approved to be Hunan provincial innovation platforms, the best approval rate compared with earlier years’ application.

Furthermore, in order to accelerate the cultivation and development of strategic emerging industry, and encourage the enterprises and relative institutions to try independent innovation, technological improvement, and integration of production and studies, Chenzhou Development and Reform Commission organized the application and assessment activities for two Chenzhou municipal level platforms as “Chenzhou project research center” and “Chenzhou high-tech service project”. 8 project research centers as “Chenzhou Project Research Center of Chenzhou Shanshan New Material Co., Ltd.” were qualified of “Chenzhou project research center”, and 10 projects as “Toxic testing and counselling center of Xiangnan University” were enrolled into 2015 key supporting projects of high-tech service industry.
