It was reported that a modern farm project which was invested by Xiangnan University Innovation & Entrepreneurship Industrial Park was launched in Jiyi town, Rucheng county recently. This 120-million-yuan invest project will be handled out by three phases, 80million yuan of which will be placed for the first phase which was planned to be finished in the end of 2017.

In this March, Jiyi town reach the agreement with Xiangnan University Innovation & Entrepreneurship Industrial Park that the town transferred 1000mu lands for the construction of a modern farm with the functions of plantation of organic vegetables and fruits, sightseeing, and leisure entertainment. Two function zones as leisure vacation and agricultural plantation will be set on the farm. Once finished, the farm would play sound role on promoting the development of Rucheng county’s characteristic agriculture and sightseeing tourism.
