A symposium for the comprehensive utilization of Chenzhou city’s resources was held by Chenzhou Economy and Information Commission recently, in which summarized the development and drawback of comprehensive utilization of resources in “12th five-year” and listened to the comments and suggestions proposed by some enterprises. Representatives from 13 excellent enterprises on resource utilization from concrete, construction material, non-ferrous metals, electric power, and etc. were invited to attend the symposium.

During “12th five-year plan”, 76 enterprises from logging, construction material, non-ferrous metals, mechanical, and resource regeneration industry were qualified as Hunan provincial comprehensive resource utilization enterprises. 102 comprehensive utilization products were qualified as well. The total comprehensive utilization output value was amounted to 28.628billion yuan. 26.8324million tons solid wastes of different industries were reused. All of those helped to reach the goals of deep utilization and recycling utilization of resources and energies, and decrease the emission of industrial pollution.

In “13th five-year plan”, Chenzhou will further upgrade the recovery and comprehensive utilization rate of resources; promote R&D and industrialization of common technologies of resources recycling; enhance the circular utilization of associated ore, large industrial solid wastes, regeneration resources, agricultural and forestry wastes, and etc.; accelerate the establishment of wastes recycling by advanced technologies; improve the development of energy-saving industries, manufacturing of advanced environmental protection devices and clean products, industries of environmental infrastructure and environmental pollution recovery, and etc.; launch demonstration pilots of energy performance contracting; and promote the marketization of energy saving service system. All of those are purposely to improve Chenzhou city to be a national demonstration of circular economy and important energy saving and environmental protection industry base of Hunan province. It aimed to hit 40billion yuan and 15 billion yuan on the total output value of energy saving industry and its added value respectively on 2020.
