It was reported that training course of new urbanization for leading cadres was opened on May 31, 2016 in Chenzhou city. More than 220 officials and relative staffs from the departments of housing, planning, urban management, real estate, urban investment, traffic police, and etc. attended the course.

During “12th five-year”, Chenzhou city focused on the targets of “livable city” and “international modern and open city” and the core of people-oriented urbanization to carry out the new urbanization and improve the infrastructure condition, which greatly improved its capacities of undertaking, systematic, and efficiency. In 2015, the rate of urbanization was up to 50.2% which was 7% higher than 2011. In the meantime, Chenzhou city was enrolled into the list of Hunan provincial pilot cities of new urbanization, one of the five pilot cities of Hunan province.

It was introduced that the training course would be last for 3 days. Some leaders from Hunan Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Department and relative experts of the industry would interpret new ideas, policies, and standard designs on urban-rural planning, urban and rural construction, architectural design, and etc.,
