It was reported that the scheduling conference for construction of well-off society was held on June 14, 2016 in Chenzhou city. As required on the conference, all departments should focus on the preset targets and key points to handle relative work and try best to fulfill all the preset targets.

2016 is the opening year of “13th five-year plan” as well as the key year for construction of well-off society. From the beginning of 2016, all departments of Chenzhou city focused on the target of “taking the lead in south Hunan, ranking in advance in Hunan province” and took active actions on promoting the construction of well-off society. According to the monitoring data, the overall rate of the construction of well-off society was 85.8% in the first quarter of 2016. Concerned for the 5 categories, the data are as follow: economic development 70.2%, democratic and rule of law 88.3%, cultural construction 80%, living 96.1%, and resource & environment 90.6%.

Special scheduling was handled out for Beihu district, Jiahe, Linwu, and Rucheng counties’ striving to be advanced in construction of well-off society. Relative departments presented their solutions on specified problems and would try best to reach new breakthroughs on 15 indexes as the share of tax revenue over the fiscal revenue, per capita fiscal revenue, and etc.

As required on the conference, the awareness of construction of well-off society should be further intensified; all departments should conquer difficulties to fight for the construction work; some outdated ideas should be changed to adapt to new requirements and trends and seize the initiative; and more confidence should be kept on realizing targets. More efforts should be tried on the construction of well-off society, especially on the promotion, scheduling, and docking work. More measures should be issued for the construction of well-off society, such as the responsibility mechanism, evaluation, supervision, assessment, and etc. All departments should support Beihu district, Jiahe, Linwu, and Rucheng counties’ work of striving to be advanced.
