Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee investigated Dongjiang Diversion project recently. As you can see from above image, Yi Pengfei was visiting the water intake of Dongjiang Diversion project.

It was reported that Yi Pengfei- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee investigated Dongjiang Diversion project recently. Yi stated that all relative departments should take active actions on providing services and coordinating with each other, and then promote the projects to be finished and placed to operation in the end of 2017 with safe condition and high quality.

Yi Pengfei visited the construction site of water intake, diversion channel, water outlet, and other projects. It was introduced the whole project includes three parts as water intake & diversion tunnel, water purification plant, and water pipes, covering 2.157billion yuan. The project conducts water supply by double pipes and is capable to provide water for Suxian district, Beihu district, and Zixing city by gravity outflow, as well as for Guiyang county by secondary pressure. Currently, relative work concerned about water intake and diversion tunnel were being promoted rapidly.

A symposium was hosted by Yi Pengfei later on the investigation trip. Concerned for the problems discovered on the investigation, he presented some requirements for the work of next stage.

Yi Pengfei pointed out that Dongjiang Diversion project is a significant well-being project, as well as a pillar project for keeping stable increase and improving development, and a key project for upgrading support capacity, city function, and city level. All sub-ordinate departments and relative counties (cities) must pay great attention on it and provide adequate supports for it and try best to fulfill the targets of placing to operation in the end of 2017.

Yi stated that Chendian International and some construction units should follow the target to figure out scientific and detailed planning and solution and well handle the construction and management work without compromising to safety and quality.

Yi required that all sub-ordinate departments should follow their functions to provide sound services for the projects, especially on monitoring, management, financing, and etc. All departments should work together to try best to finish the project as soon as possible.
