It was learned from Chenzhou Development and Reform Commission that 2016 special investment plan for inter-provincial towns was released by Hunan Development and Reform Commission recently. According to the plan, Hankou town( now Oujiang town) of Guidong county, Jiyi town of Rucheng county, Nanqiang town of Linwu county, and Yuxi town of Yizhang county were granted with 17.50million yuan special subsidies. The counties from Chenzhou city was about 20% of total enrolled into the list.

It was introduced that this special project for inter-provincial counties was aimed to explore new methods for improving the development of different small towns and collect more helpful experiences on solving the well-being problems of poverty-stricken areas and narrowing gaps among surrounded areas.
