Hunan provincial level preliminary review of Chenzhou city’s establishment of national water saving city was carried out from June 23-24, 2016.

It was learned that Chenzhou city’s establishment of national water saving city was launched in 2013. With years’ efforts, Chenzhou city was established to be Hunan provincial water saving city in 2015. In this March, Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government held a conference for trying to be established as national water saving city in 2016.

During the preliminary review, the experts group evaluated Chenzhou city’s establishment work by listening to reports, checking data, investigating sites, and etc. On the feedback conference which was held in the morning of June 24, 2016, the members of the group disclosed the evaluation results of the management index and technological assessment of Chenzhou city’s establishment work, scoring 92 which fundamentally met the evaluation standards. The group passed the preliminary review consensually.

As stated by the experts group, Chenzhou city gained great effects on the establishment work, especially for sound water saving mechanism, special funds, propaganda, promotion of water saving technologies, test of water balance, and etc. The group presented some specified comments and suggestions for some details as well.
