Initiating the passion of invasiveness of students
The activity of “ten cultural symbols of Chenzhou” was being proceeded to the stage of public selection. Along with the propaganda of the selection via newspaper, TV, internet, and etc., the students of primary and middle schools joined in the activity passionately. When reporters arrived at Class 189, Grade 4, Subsidiary Primary School of Xiangnan University, the students were handling theme class meeting concerned for the activity.
Many students shared their ideas of cultural symbols of Chenzhou city at the class meeting. “I’m from Guidong county- a summer resort with sound ecological condition, but the most important point is that Chairman Mao issued ‘three disciplines and eight notices’ there,” Liu Shiyao recommended the cultural symbol initially. “I recommended Suxianling for it is national landscape……” Li Xinyin kept talking the details of the cultural symbol in her mind.
In the meantime, Class 457, Grade 8, Chenzhou 6th Middle School handled out their theme meeting concerned about the cultural symbols in the last class of this semester. Four students of each group discussed with each other and listed the 10 cultural symbols after their discussion. Wangxianling, Ailian Lake, Xiangnan Uprising Memorial Hall, and some other ones were recommended by the students.
It was learned that Chenzhou Spiritual Civilization Office organized the departments, enterprises, schools, and families to join in the selection from the beginning of the activity. The students of primary and middle schools were guided to share their ideas of the cultural symbols of Chenzhou city by different means as class meetings, speeches, and etc., which helped to initiate their passion of invasiveness.
