Recently, the State Land and Resources Ministry praised "3rd national model county (city) of economical and intensive utilization of land and resources". Zixing city, Yizhang, Jiahe, Rucheng counties were enrolled on the list.

It was learned that the establishment of model city of economical and intensive utilization of land and resources is a national evaluation event approved by the competent authority of the State Council. It was purposely to implement the national policies concerned about the economic and intensive utilization of land and resources and improve the utilization efficiency accordingly. In order to ensure all results are public and fair, the evaluation results were released on www.people.com.cn, People's Daily, China Land and Resources News, China Mining News, and www.mlr.gov.cn.
