It was learned from some departments of Guiyang county that in recent years, the county played the best roles of Party schools, vocational schools, and agricultural schools to enhance the vocational skill training for farmers. More than 30,000 farmers were benefited from the training every year, which highly promoting the transformation and upgrading of agricultural industrialization.

Based on farmers’ willingness and their features, the county explored different innovative ways of training. In the meantime, besides some key training subjects as professional production families, family farmers, backbones of farmers professional cooperatives, and employees of service industry, many migrant workers, veterans, and graduates from universities and vocational schools were enrolled into the training courses.

Furthermore, followed the strict procedures, the county selected the training bases, new rural onsite study base, and practicing base and established faculty base, which greatly granted the training effects and results. Unified textbooks were released to the trainees who should follow exact time schedule to take the courses. Once finished, the trainees would be qualified with relative certificates. Follow-up work would be carried out afterward to guide the trainees on their production processes.
