It was learned from the scheduling conference of urban infrastructure projects that over 4.074billion yuan investments were finished on central urban areas in the first 7 month of 2016, accounting for 47.1% of annual plan.

167 infrastructure projects covered with 32.401billion yuan total investment were planned to be handled in central urban area of Chenzhou city in 2016, 8.651billion yuan of which was planned to be placed in this year. Currently, 881million yuan of 70 new projects was finished, accounting for 29.05% of the annual plan; 3.61billion yuan of 85 continuous projects was finished, accounting for 56.38% of the annual plan; and 32.01million yuan of 12 preliminary projects was finished.

According to the plan, 155 of the 167 projects should be launched or restarted, actually 130 of which were handled out accordingly with the rate of 83.87%. Concerned for the 70 new projects which should be launched in 2016, 53 of them were carried out based on the plan with the rate of 75.71%. Furthermore 77 of 85 continuous projects were restarted with the rate of 90.59%.

Liu Zhiwei who is the Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City stated on the conference that all departments should deploy special staffs to coordinate with relative work, accelerate the preliminary procedures, and then try to launch the project sooner; more attention should be placed on construction supporting, optimization of environment, and scheduling to solve the problems hindered on the way of further improvement of projects; and the sound construction season should be well seized to promote the construction work and ensure the annual tasks to be fulfilled on time.
