It was reported that the press conference of 4th South Hunan International Undertaking Industrial Transfer Fair was held in Changsha city on Sep. 14, 2016. The fair will be held in Chenzhou city from Sep. 22-25, 2016, along with the launching of 5th major projects of south Hunan demonstration zone.

The Demonstration Zone of South Hunan Undertaking Industrial Transfer which was approved in October, 2011 was being improved with substantial achievements by the great efforts tried by three cities of south Hunan province. From 2012-2015, 424 major projects covered with 313billion yuan were launched by four batches. Till this September, 132.24billion yuan has been finished, accounting for 42.2% of the total investment, and 142 projects have been finished, accounting for 33.5% of the total.

As the pioneer of South Hunan Demonstration Zone, Chenzhou city gained series results on development of opening economy. During last 5 years, USD4.93billion foreign investments were attracted by the city, ranking the second place of Hunan province with an annual increasing rate of 20.68%; 157.65billion yuan domestic investments were paid in, ranking the first three places of Hunan province with an annual increasing rate of 17.51%; the total foreign trade volume was amounted to USD15.5billion; processing trade was reached USD10.3billion; and the ratio of dependence on foreign trade increased from 5.8% in 2010 to 9.1% in 2015.

Followed the theme of “green undertaking, scientific development”, the fair will pay close attention on exhibition, development forum, marketing fair, and projects docking and carry out series activities as opening ceremony, patrol, cross-board investment innovation development forum, Hunan famous products show, on-site investigation, and etc.

Compared with previous fairs, there are following three highlights for this fair: first, it will integrate cross-board investment development forum. Some experts from Development Center of the State Council will be invited to attend the forum and present some speeches on cross-board investment and industrial transfer. The mayors from three cities of south Hunan province will deliver speeches on the improvement of their industrial transfer, leading industries, and investment attraction of special industries. Furthermore, principals from some top 500 companies of the world will also present speeches on cross-board investment, innovation development, future investment trend, and etc. Second, achievements show of three cities will be changed as South Hunan Famous Products Show. 500 standard stands will be set in the 300,000square meters big exhibition hall, including 200 standard stands for famous enterprises zone, 200 standard stands for Hunan provincial enterprises zone, and 100 standard stands for international exhibition zone. Third, besides three cities of Hunan province, Loudi and Shaoyang cities will attend the fair as well. Hunan Reform and Development Commission approved the proposal of Loudi-Shaoyang Undertaking Industrial Transfer Demonstration Zone in 2015. In order to extend the influence, this fair will follow the mode of “3+2” and invite some departments from Loudi and Shaoyang cities to attend the fair.
