On April 7, the provincial grassroots emergency management standardized construction promotion conference was held in Chenzhou. The conference summed up the previous stage of the provincial grassroots emergency management standardized construction work and deployed the work of next stage.

Participants came to the Emergency Command Center of Xinglang Town, Jiahe County, the Fifth Middle School, Water Supply Company, Aofeng Community of Zhuquan Town and "Wisdom Jiahe" emergency network monitoring platform to visit and investigate the Chenzhou grassroots emergency management standardized construction work.

Since 2011, Chenzhou has focused on creating emergency management demonstration units, strengthened the guidance and constantly improved the level of grassroots emergency management standardization. By the end of 2016, 88 units have been awarded the "Emergency Management Demonstration Unit". At the same time, between 2016 and 2017, Municipal Finance arranged a total of 420,000 yuan of standardized construction special funds, to substitute subsidies with rewards for the units creating significant effects.

The conference required that the city state must fully realize the grassroots emergency management standardized construction is the effective measure to prevent and reduce the emergencies, and must strengthen the confidence, overcome difficulties, increase efforts, strengthen reporting docking and simplify the submission process. The city state must strengthen work guidance and scientific planning, to further enhance the sense of responsibility. For the discovered problems, the city state must timely rectify and fill learning gaps to promote grassroots emergency management standardized work to a new level.

Provincial Emergency Office Director Lu Ming and the relevant person in charge of the Provincial Department of Education, Public Security Department, Civil Affairs Department, Health and Family Planning Commission, Safety Supervision Bureau and the Emergency Offices participated in the promotion conference.
