On the afternoon of April 7, the preparatory work meeting of 13th National Basketball Preliminaries Chenzhou Division was held to coordinate and deploy the related work.

It was understood that the preliminaries of 13th National Adult Men's Basketball Group I will be held in the Chenzhou Olympic Sports Centre（COSC）, a total of 7 teams from Guangdong, Zhejiang, Beijing, Shanghai, Shanxi, Shaanxi and Heilongjiang to participate in the competition. The participating team will compete for the two teams qualify for the finals through the group single round robin. The competition will take place from April 23 to 29, 2017, for 7 days. By then, Yi Jianlian, Zhu Fangyu and other players will appear in the COSC.

Before the meeting, Vice Mayor He Jianxiang and his entourage came to the comprehensive gymnasium of COSC to check the preparatory work before the game. At present, Chenzhou preparatory work is being carried out in full swing, field equipment and competition work arrangements are ready, and the rest of the work will be improved in the near future.

The meeting required that the relevant departments must attach great importance to the competition, be conscientious and responsible and cooperate perfectly to jointly run the national basketball match; must do a good job in the race arrangements and other specific matters; must develop a detailed security program to ensure the safety of the athletes in the station, on the court and on the way, ensure the resident hotel catering and do a good job in the field accident rescue work; must do propaganda reports, create a public opinion atmosphere; must do a good job in logistical support and volunteer service work to ensure the "zero mistake" in the preparations for the event; must strengthen market operation ability to achieve win-win economic and social benefits.
