Chenzhou implements ‘10 new measures’ for epidemic prevention and control

On December 7, “10 new measures” was announced by the Group for COVID-19 Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council to optimize COVID-19 response. Public places should no longer require proof of negative nucleic acid testing results or check digital health codes of visitors except for elderly care and social welfare centers, medical facilities, nursery care centers and primary and middle schools. Cross-regional travelers are also waived from these requirements and are no longer required to take a test upon arrival.
At 7:30 p.m. on December 7, at the exit of Chenzhouxi Railway Station, the reporter saw that the previously busy inspection post and sampling point have been removed.
At 4:00 p.m. on December 7, the exit of Chenzhouxi Railway Station stopped checking the health and travel codes and testing for passengers.
Such work was also no longer carried out at the entrance of the Chenzhouxi Railway Station.
In order to enable passengers to increase the awareness of self-protection, the staff will issue “A Letter to Passengers Incoming (Returning) to Chenzhou”. A free nucleic acid test point is also reserved at the exit for those who need to take a nucleic acid test.
In the afternoon of December 7, the epidemic prevention and control consulting service point at the Chenzhou exit of Beijing-Hong Kong&Macao Expressway was also removed, and only one self-paid nucleic acid test point was reserved.
