The 2024 Hunan (Changsha) Cross-border E-commerce Trade Fair was held in Changsha, Hunan Province on August 30. As a comprehensive pilot zone for cross-border e-commerce, Chenzhou organized three special cross-border e-commerce industrial belts of mineral crystals, silver products and casting and forging products for display at this fair, with over 50 enterprises, mainly demonstrating the advantages of special industrial belts and key projects related to cross-border e-commerce.
This three-day fair is themed “full-channel export of Hunan products, digital cross-border towards the future”. Malaysia was the first guest of honor, and a cross-border e-commerce selection platform for Hunan products was also set up, to carry out trade matching and economic and trade negotiations through online and offline ways.
1 main activity, 7 thematic activities and salons, 1 “cross-border night” brand activity and a number of training activities were held during the fair.
There were six exhibition areas for cross-border e-commerce platforms, products selection, service providers, specialty industrial belts, livestreaming, and theme activities. It aimed to promote the development of cross-border e-commerce and industrial belts, and build a cross-border e-commerce brand exhibition in Central China.
Cross-border e-commerce is a new foreign trade form with fastest development speed, greatest potential and strongest driving force.
Chenzhou has established trade relations with 184 countries and regions around the world and has been selected as one of the “China’s top 100 foreign trade cities”.
Since the comprehensive pilot zone for cross-border e-commerce was approved in 2020, Chenzhou has built an online comprehensive service platform, a cross-border e-commerce bonded stock supervision center, a “Quality Chenzhou” digital trade platform, a zero-tariff cross-border direct purchase center, etc.
It has introduced and cultivated 191 cross-border e-commerce enterprises, established 6 overseas warehouses. It has opened such new cross-border e-commerce modes like “9810” mode and “1210” mode. It has achieved a cumulative cross-border e-commerce import and export volume of 9.5 billion yuan.
