Anren Flower Drum Opera beginning during the Qing Dynasty is an important branch of Hengyang Flower Drum Opera and is a Flower Drum Opera genre with wider spread and greater impact in southern Hunan. It originated from the worship of land, temples, ancestral halls and a vow. The main tunes are folk songs and strings minor.
