Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology Cao Jianlin came to Chenzhou and made an on-the-spot investigation in Yongxing County, Suxian District and Chenzhou Nonferrous Metal Industrial Park on May 7, 2011.

Cao and his delegation paid visits to companies such as Xinda Silver Industry, Hualei Optoelectronic, Jinwang Bismuth Industry and Gospell.

During the investigation, Cao remarked that the ministry will provide firm support to the scientific and technological development in Chenzhou.

He spoke highly of the efforts made for the scientific and technological development in the city. Besides, he expected the city to further promote ideological emancipation and increase input for  scientific research so as to improve its independent innovation capability.

He urged the city to take measures to further intensify the integration of scientific and technological resources, and give full play to advanced scientific research institutions at home and abroad in a bid to give rise to high-level achievements soundly, rapidly and abundantly by complementing each other’s advantages.

Wang Kemin, director of Hunan Provincial Science and Technology Department, and Dai Daojin, secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee joined the inspection.
