Chenzhou Releases New City Image System

The Information Office of the Chenzhou Municipal People's Government held a press conference on April 25 to unveil the official slogan, logo and city image promotional film.
The slogan "a forest city, the capital of creation and recreation" is finalized to represent and highlight the city image.
And the tourism image message-"the forest city, the capital of leisure" was put forward by Secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Zhou Qiang, who was impressed with the favorable ecological environment during his inspection tour there.
The city emblem "live to green" takes in Chinese character, calligraphy, Chinese pinyin and English letters. It units"郴" and "州" into one in a subtle and creative way. With green as main tone, it applies gradients-red, yellow and blue as well.
The whole emblem highlights the uniqueness of "郴" and the vitality of the city and in the meantime shows the symphony of creation and recreation.
Pinyin CHEN here helps people easily recognize "郴", what's more, it defines "郴" in a brand new way, that is C for Chance, H for Hope, E for Easy, N for Nature.
Besides, the 3-minute video showing the most charming Chenzhou will make its debut as well.
