The Fourth Alpine Azalea Festival unveils at Mangshan Mountain, Chenzhou City, May 18. Wang Keying, former chairman of the CPPCC Hunan Provincial Committee, declared its opening. Subsequently, the original song and dance show of Yao nationality, themed with "Inspiring Mangshan Mountain, Here It Comes", took the stage. The show consists of three parts, namely, "Welcome Drum Dance", "Primitive Yaoshan Mountain", and "Vigorous Drumming to Expedite the Journey".

 

Xiang Shuguang, deputy secretary of the CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee andsecretary of the CPC Yizhang County Committee, presided over the opening ceremony. Xiang remarked that the CPC Yizhang County Committee and Yizhang County People's Government have thoroughly implied the Scientific Outlook on Development and sticked to promoting sound performances. Great endeavors will be made to transform development pattern and adjust economic structure so as to foster a new economic growth point. This festival will definitely serve as an event to unite the public, expand opening-up, upgrade city image and accelerate development.
