The Investment Promotion Meeting on Chenzhou (Shenzhen) Modern Service Industry Transfer was held on May 31, 2011. It was revealed from the meeting that Chenzhou will carry out a "Three-year Action Plan" to accelerate modern service industry, starting from this year.

According to the plan, Chenzhou will build three theme parks with distinctive styles within the first two years, and build five large commercial complexes each covering an area of over 200,000 square meters so as to enhance urban functions and speed up the development of modern service industry.

The city will spend three years quickening the construction of national high-tech service industrial bases, and give priority to modern logistics, modern finance, e-commerce, consultation and agency, exhibition, etc.

In terms of real estate, the city will propel indemnificatory housing construction. And it will forge ten exquisite tourist attractions to promote the development of tourism. In modern trade and commerce, urban commercial complexes, shopping malls, distinctive commercial blocks as well as specialized markets will be built.
