The total import and export value of Chenzhou is $424, 89 million from January to May in 2011, which has completed 34.54% of the annual goal (7% less than the required volume).. The value increases $5,498 million and by 14.86% compared with the same period last year, 29%  lower than average increase of Hunan province and 12.7 % lower than that of China.  21.371 million dollars on exports decreases by 32.74% compared with the same period last year, 21.118 million dollars on imports increases by 144.93% compared with the same period last year. The total import and export value, the value of export and the value of import all rank fifth in the province, with the import growth toping the list in the province. It is estimated that the total import and export value of Chenzhou from January to June will reach $545 million and complete 44.3% of the annual goal, increased by 25.87% compared with the same period last year.   

 

The value of Chenzhou's import and export is $56.87 million in May 2011, which declines by 29.57% compared to May last year and 33.74% compared to last month. The value of export and import are $42.39 million and $14.48 million respectively, up 39.85% and 40.93% compared to May last year.
