Villagers and cadres of Chetoubei village of Jiahe county were working together to clear the masses on August 17, 2013. Due to the impact of typhoon “Ute”, Jiahe county was suffered with heavy rain from August 16, 2013. The river level of Zhongshui river rose greatly which made 40 families of Chetoubei village inflow with water. After learning this flood situation, local cadres took the first action to transfer the villagers and their assets safely.

More than 120 people and cadres from Linwu county were working together on piling up sandbags to prevent flood on August 18, 2013. From the early morning of August 18, some villages of Linwu county were stoke by heavy rain. Some villagers’ houses were flooded. Cadres of Linwu county fought hardly to help the victims.
