Laiyuan Village Approved to be National 3A Tourism Landscape

According to the file released by Chenzhou Tourism & Foreign Affairs Bureau that Laiyuan village was approved to be national 3A tourism landscape after the specified procedures of preliminary assessment of tourism departments, on-site evaluation of experts, online publicity, and etc.

 

Laiyuan village is located in southeast area of Bali town, Yizhang county. This ancient village of Chen’s family was built in Ming Dynasty. After 600 years, more than 200 middle and late Qing Dynasty style dwellings are still reserved by the villagers. It is one of Hunan provincial characteristic tourism villages and was enrolled into the list of Hunan provincial culture relic protection sites in 2011, the list of Hunan historical cultural villages in 2012, and the list of Chinese ancient villages in 2015. The total area of Laiyuan village landscape project is 96.9mu. Its construction will be last for 15 years construction with 45.60million yuan investment. One core ancient dwellings, one belt of folk dwellings surrounded the core, and one ring of eight scenic spots will be built for the project.

 

Currently, there is one national 3A landscape available in Yizhang county. Its national 4A landscape- Mount Mang National Forest Park is being promoted to be upgraded as national tourism resort.
