It was learned from 2016 key characteristic working seminar of Chenzhou Federation of Trade Union that the federation will focus on the development to highlight three key points of labor contest, technological innovation, and harmonious labor relations; focus on service for workers to improve service protection, supporting, and well-being management; and focus on consolidation of foundation to upgrade the organization, position, and team construction.

On the conference, it confirmed the key work for the federation and highlighted the theme of labor movement of “fighting for Chinese dream”. It will follow the general strategy of “keeping the leading role of industry, improving overall development” and general targets of “five Chenzhou” and keep the ideas of “three closer, two enhancement, construction of five style trade union” to improve the grassroots, serve for overall situation, serve for workers, and serve for grassroots.

Dou Xiangyan- Deputy Director of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee and Chairman of Chenzhou Federation of Trade Union stated that 2016 is the year of reform. All the trade unions should well study and implement the spirit of 5th Plenary Session of 18th Central Committee of CPC and central, Hunan provincial, Chenzhou municipal Party Committee’s alliance conferences to improve the development of Chenzhou city based on the city’s practical condition; should specify the development direction and idea to carry out labor contest, play the best role of main force, and upgrade the workers sense of acquisition; should enhance rights protection service to establish harmonious labor relations and upgrade the workers indignity; and should consolidate the foundation to upgrade the vitality of grassroots trade unions and upgrade the participation sense of grassroots cadres.
