It was reported that Zhong Benqiang- Director of Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress hosted the 58th Chief Meeting of 4th Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee on February 22, 2016.

“Report on deliberation of disposal of special report of Chenzhou investment attraction”, and “Report on deliberation of disposal” of four civil servants of 2015 were checked and deliberated on the conference. Reporting resumptions of 2016 Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee were confirmed on the conference. “2016 working schedule for Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee” was checked on the conference as well.

“Regulation for protection of Chenzhou Suxianling- Wanhuayan landscape (draft)” was also checked on the conference. It was learned that on last December 4, 19th session of 12th Hunan Provincial People’s Congress and its Standing Committee approved Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee to formulate its local regulations, which indicated that Chenzhou city started to perform its local legislative power. As the first local regulations which will be formulated in Chenzhou city, “Chenzhou Suxianling- Wanhuayan landscape protection regulations” is purposely to enhance the administration of Suxianling- Wanhuayan landscape, protect its resources more effectively and reasonably, maintain its order, and optimize its tourism environment. Zhong Benqiang stated that Chenzhou Municipal People’s Congress and its Standing Committee should well tried the first step of performing legislative power, play its leading role on legislative guidance and promotion, and provide sound legislative supports for Chenzhou city’s construction of rule of law.
