It was learned from Chenzhou Coordination and Promotion Group Office of Key Infrastructure and Well-being Projects that 80 key infrastructure and well-being projects will be carried out in Chenzhou city in 2016, which is 8 more than last year. There are 51 new projects and 29 continuous projects with 28.130billion yuan investment in total, 20.199 of which is annual planned investment, 7.131billion yuan more than last year.

Among all the 80 projects, 24 key infrastructure projects are for Chenzhou central area, covering 8.338billion yuan total investment, 2.933billion of which is for annual planned investment. They are 6 new projects as extension of Renmin road (first phase), expansion of Chenzhou West Station of Wuhan-Guangzhou High Speed Train, Airport Avenue of Beihu district, and etc., and 18 continuous construction projects as Dongjiang diversion project, Xiangxue middle road, Chenzhou 2nd Sewage Disposal Plant, and etc.

21 key transportation projects are covered with 4.171billion yuan investment, 1.645billion yuan of which is for annual planned investment. They are 10 new projects as G107 Suxian- Liangtian town highway, Export and Processing Zone Hub, upgrading of Leishui shipping lane (Suxian section), and etc., and 11 continuous construction projects as Chenzhoubei Exit of Jingzhu expressway, Xianling parking lot, S212 Huatang- Baohe section, and etc.

35 key well-being projects are covered with 15.621billion yuan investment, 15.621billion yuan of which is for annual planned investment. They are 16 Hunan provincial level projects for accurate poverty alleviation, rural highway, primary and middle school, kindergarten, and etc., and 19 municipal level projects for arterial highways, expansion of compulsory education in central urban area, new rural construction, and etc.
