It was reported that the opening ceremony of 2016 Dongjiang Lake (Huangcao) 3rd Fish Culture and Tourism Festival was held in Jinniu Island, Huangcao town, Zixing city on May 27, 2016. This festival was followed with the theme of “environment protection, tourism, fitness, food”. Tens of media and a large number of photographers, artists, and visitors were attracted to enjoy this festival.

Huangcao town is located in the southeastern part of Zixing city, where is the central region of Dongjiang Lake, so it is with rich fish resources. Visitors were satisfied with “the fish feast” which was cooked by a chief chef with eight different methods.

It was introduced by Li Li who is Secretary of Huangcao Town Party Committee that the festival was guided by government and operated by the market. The travel agents were in charge of organizing the visitors to attend relative activities, while local government was in charge of handling the security work. It well met the targets of advocating environment protection and promoting the harmonious development of culture, ecology, and tourism of Dongjiang Lake.

A signing ceremony about “loving Dongjiang Lake, promoting environment protection” was held on the opening ceremony, which was purposely to protect the environment of Dongjiang Lake.
