It was reported that the hosting rights of 35th Asia Champions Cup was granted to Chenzhou city on May 27, 2016. The event will be held from Oct. 8-16, 2016. As one of the big events of Chinese basketball, it would be significant to improve the development of local basketball industry.

Asia Champions Cup is the top level event of Asia Club. It has been lasted for 35 years since its beginning in 1981 in HK. But that is the first time to grant the hosting rights to the city of China Mainland. Bayi, Liaoning, Guangdong, Beijing, and some other elite Chinese basketball clubs fought for the championship in previous years and won champion tiles for three times.

In this Oct. 8-16, elite basketball teams from Asia would fight for the champion tile in Chenzhou city, Hunan province. This top level basketball club event of Asia would be helpful to improve the development of local basketball industry.
