It was learned that “the publicity of 2016 national comprehensive demonstration counties of rural ecommerce” was released on the official website of Hunan Commerce Department. According to the list, Rucheng county of Chenzhou city was enrolled there. Once the publicity closed, it would be submitted to the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance, and Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council for registration.

It was introduced that “national comprehensive demonstration counties of rural ecommerce” was sponsored and implemented by the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance, and Poverty Alleviation Office of the State Council. It aimed to improve series demonstration counties with driving forces in three years and would pay closer attention on the improvement of comprehensive rural logistics system, village level ecommerce public service stations, rural ecommerce training, and etc., and then improve the development rural ecommerce and online marketing of products.

In recent years, Rucheng county took active actions on exploring the development of rural ecommerce which was placed as key measure for promotion of accurate poverty alleviation, transformation of development of agriculture, and popular tourism. It was estimated that the total sales volume of ecommerce would be amounted to 200million yuan till the end of 2016, 400million yuan in 2017, and 600million yuan in 2018.

It was learned that Qiyang county, Yongxing county, Huitong county, Hanshou county, Chengbu Miao minority autonomous county, and Xupu county which are from Hunan province were enrolled into the list.
