It was reported that Qu Hai- Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City met Li Fuli- General Manager of China Minmetals in Changsha city on May 28, 2016. They shared their ideas on promoting deepening strategic cooperation between two parties during “13th five-year plan” and improve the transformation and upgrading of non-ferours metals industry of Chenzhou city.

Both two parties shared ideas on current condition of the investments placed by China Minmetals in Chenzhou city. In 2010, Chenzhou Government signed the strategic cooperation framework with China Minmetals. According to the agreement, China Minmetals would place 5.5billion yuan in Chenzhou city, covering 9 projects. Along with sound cooperation between the two parties, 3.5billion yuan has been paid-in by the company till now, accounting for 63.6% of the total contracting amount. First phase of fluorination and technological improvement of 3000t/d polymetallic ore of Chaishan, Shizhuyuan have been fulfilled and already placed to operation. Shizhuyuan National Mine Park and some other projects were still being under construction.

Li Fuli presented brief introduction of the company’s investments placed in Hunan province. As stated by Li, Chenzhou is one of the significant places for the company’s strategic layout. He highly appreciated Chenzhou Party Committee and Chenzhou Government’s concern and supports on their work. Thanks to the sound investment condition and high level service, the two parties cooperated well with each other. He sincerely hoped that both two parties can keep sound communication and cooperation in the “13th five-year plan” period and reach more achievements together.

Qu Hai highly appreciated that China Minmetals contributed greatly to Chenzhou city’s improvement of economy. He said, Chenzhou kept in advance among other cities of Hunan province on docking with central enterprises in recent years, while the central enterprises contributed greatly to its industrial transformation development correspondingly. Chenzhou Government paid great attention on the cooperation with China Minmetals since the very beginning, let alone after being confirmed as new increasing pole of Hunan province in “13th five-year plan”. Qu hoped the company can keep supporting the development of Chenzhou city on the basis of earlier sound cooperation. Chenzhou Government would pay more efforts on supporting the company and provide better development condition for it as well.
