It was learned from Chenzhou Finance Bureau that Chenzhou city kept placing investments on education in 2016. From this January to June, 3.723billion yuan was placed on education, up 24.1%, 403million yuan was for Chenzhou municipal level expenditure, up 40.4% which is 25.5% higher than public finance budget expenditure.

It was introduced that compulsory education was the key concern for the finance, which was aimed to improve the supporting mechanism of compulsory education funds of urban and rural areas. 72.07million yuan public capitals have been issued to compulsory education schools. 10million yuan subsidies were arranged to handle the 3-year action for solving big class issue of Chenzhou central urban area. Furthermore, 17million yuan funds were placed to improve the safety condition of school buildings.

Concerned for the improvement of senior high middle school, university, and vocational education, Chenzhou city placed about 20million yuan on the expansion of Chenzhou 15th Middle School and Experimental Building of Chenzhou 1st Middle School based on their progress. 3.20million yuan special funds were placed on the cultivation of innovation talents of senior middle schools. 16.60million yuan was placed for the expansion of Xiangnnan Children Education College after it was qualified to be upgraded. 24.53million yuan was issued to the construction of concentrated campus of Chenzhou Industrial Communications School based on its progress. 5million yuan subsidies and 21million yuan tuition-free supporting funds were deployed to secondary vocational schools, 18.78million yuan of which has been placed. 12.50million yuan was placed as debt funds for higher vocational colleges, which was helpful to solve the debt issues of the vocational education schools.

Furthermore, Chenzhou city placed great efforts on improving preschool education and special education as well. 5million yuan has placed on the expansion of subordinate departments' kindergartens. 1million yuan was deployed as public kindergarten subsidies. 1.2million yuan was arranged as public funds of special education schools followed the standard of 6000yuan/student/year. 250,000yuan was placed for some students from poverty stricken families.
