It was reported that Gao Jifan who is the Chairman of the Board of Trina Solar Limited and Xu Xiangping who is the Minister of Hunan Commerce Department investigated the photovoltaic poverty alleviation industry. Gao Jifan stated that the company would seize the chance of investment cooperation and tried great efforts on improving the development of photovoltaic industry and lifting people out of poverty.

Trina Solar Limited which was established in 1997 and was listed in New York Stock Exchange in 2006 is a manufacturer of crystal valley solar components. The high level photovoltaic components which are produced by Trina Solar Limited are widely applied by the grid and off-grid solar stations of the world. It kept the first place of sales of photovoltaic components in the world in 2015, accounting the annual output value of 30billion yuan.

According to the statistics, 132.90million square meters lands of Chenzhou city are workable for using photovoltaic (such as waste lands of mines, tails, barren mountains, roofs of industrial workshops, and etc.) The average sunshine duration of Chenzhou city kept 1300-1600hours for many years and the solar radiation was amounted to 101.5-113kilocalorie/square cm, which grants Chenzhou city with sound photovoltaic resources. Furthermore, Chenzhou city is one of the pilots of Hunan provincial photovoltaic poverty alleviation project.

The two parties reached consensus on further strategic cooperation after deepening communication. As they said, photovoltaic poverty alleviation is one of the new methods for poverty alleviation work, which is with good effects on driving the development of industries and society, as well as significant to lift people out of poverty and the well-off society construction. As confirmed by the two parties, some more special staffs from relative departments would be deployed to negotiate with Trina Solar Limited in near future and try best to settle the cooperation agreement.

Xu Xiangping hoped that further breakthroughs can be reached on photovoltaic industry by Chenzhou city. The docking work on introduction of investment, talents, and strong partners would be further enhanced with Trina Solar Limited by figuring out more feasible poverty alleviation measures and handling preliminary work. He also hope that the Trina Solar Limited can place more investments on photovoltaic poverty alleviation projects of Chenzhou city and focus on improving Chenzhou city to be "demonstration city of new energy".
