A staged progress was achieved on Beihu Airport

It was reported that Qu Hai-Mayor of Chenzhou City carried out a special investigation on Beihu Airport project and required that the condition of project should be further optimized to improve its development.

On this June 23, the CMC Joint Chiefs of Staff submitted its supporting report on Beihu Airport to the State Development and Reform Commission. In the middle of this July, the project was approved by the State Development and Reform Commission. Currently, the two departments are working on the approval files. Chenzhou city is working hard on the docking and report and trying best to get the final approval before the end of this September.

Qu Hai stated that Beihu Airport project is one of the major projects followed by central and Hunan provincial government's spirits on improving key projects, significant reforms, and important policies. It is concerned about the long-term development of Chenzhou city and is one of the significant measures for keeping stable increase, adjusting structure, and improving well-being development. After launching the preparation of preliminary work of the project, all departments worked together to promote it and achieve great results as well. In the next stage, the condition of project should be further optimized, such as elegant natural condition, safe and harmonious social condition, rule of law and creditable investment condition, and high efficient administration condition, all of which are purposely to improve Beihu Airport project to be a sampling project of Chenzhou major projects.

Qu Hai emphasized that powerful measures should be placed on optimizing the projects' condition, especially fighting against the illegal behaviors. Special departments should be set up to follow up with the projects and solve the problems hindered on the way. Cadre team construction should be improved, as well as the ideological work of the masses. All departments should coordinate with each to promote the projects together. The construction units should follow the contract exactly to fulfil the project without compromising to quality. Stricter supervision work should be carried out by the administration departments. More efforts should be tried on docking with central and Hunan provincial departments to obtain more supports on projects and capitals, especially the approval of airport project. In the meantime, all departments should seize the chance of Chenzhou city's enrolment of Hunan provincial pilot of general aviation and promote the preliminary work of the general airport project.

Qu Hai especially emphasized that "100-day action" for the projects construction should be fully promoted. The major projects should be promoted rapidly on the basis of sound weather condition and optimized project condition, ensuring annual tasks to be fulfilled perfectly. Beihu district should play the best leading and demonstration role to promote the improvement of airport project.
