When reporters arrived at the construction site of the extension project of Daquan road, Tangdong subdistrict, Zixing city, workers were fighting against the hot weather to improve the construction of roads.

It was introduced by the official of the project that this is a "pro-people road" which is aimed to ease the traffic pressure of Jinxing road and Daquan road of Zixing urban area. It belongs to central government's reconstruction of shanty town (second phase) and is followed the standards of urban secondary artery road. It is about 435meters long and 24meters wide and is with four lanes on bother directions. It is with cement construction and paved with modified asphalt. This 5.76-million-yuan invested project is estimated to be finished in this August.

Due to the hard land acquisition and demolition work, Tangdong subdistrict placed great attention on leadership and set up special working team to handle the work with specified working mechanism and supervision mechanism.
