Qu Hai required when he investigated the vocational education of Chenzhou city

Qu Hai- Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City investigated the vocational education of Chenzhou city on August 4,2016. As required by Qu that vocational education should be improved forcefully to accelerate Chenzhou city's improvement of strong education city. 

Qu Hai visited Chenzhou Vocational Technology institute and Chenzhou Technician Institute and learned some details of their majors, education quality, and etc. Currently, due to the advanced training facilities, the graduates were popular for the enterprises of Chenzhou city.

Qu Hai stated that Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government paid highly attention on the development of vocational education. In recent years, the vocational education played great supporting role on the development of Chenzhou economy and industry, farmers’ increasing of income, poverty alleviation, and etc. The State pays high attention on vocational education under current situation and keeps playing more investments and favorable policies on it. All departments should get new comprehension on vocational education and place it as an important part of education, an important way of cultivation of talents, and important cradle for incubation craftsmen, as well as the significant foundation for improving Chenzhou city to be strong construction, manufacturing, and industry city. Vocational education should be kept as a key criterion to evaluate the education level of Chenzhou city.

Qu emphasized that the orientation of vocational education should be well comprehended. The key mission for vocational education is serving for the development of local economy and society. Major and education should be set on the basis of meeting demands of Chenzhou city’s further development and industrial development, providing more talents for Chenzhou city’s establishment of new increasing pole of Hunan province, industrial transformation, and development of tourism, exhibition, fitness service, and other key industries. More attention should be placed on innovation and entrepreneurship, skill training, integration of production- study- research, and cooperation between institutes and enterprises. More characteristic brands should be created by handling characteristic vocational education based on demands of market and employment, cultivating more high level technological talents.

Qu Hai emphasized that sound environment for supporting the development of vocational education should be provided by Chenzhou city. Closer attention should be placed on implementing policies, enhancing supports, and intensifying the evaluation, no matter on obtaining policies, vitalizing assets, accelerating development, or intensifying the evaluation of some education indexes as local employment rate. The schooling environment should be optimized by fighting against the illegal behaviors and providing safe condition. More innovative mechanisms should be handled out to solve some funds or policies problems hindered on the way.
