January 16, Chenzhou People's Procuratorate and Chenzhou Justice Bureau jointly held the certification ceremony and novice training class for People Supervisors of Chenzhou People's Procuratorate. Municipal Standing Committee and Party Secretary of Political and Legal committee, Liu Zhiwei attended the event.

The newly elected 65 People Supervisors of People's Procuratorate took the appointment certificate at the ceremony and made solemn oath under the flag. It was reported that the People Supervisors of People's Procuratorate came from the city's various industries and all fronts. Through the quota, announcement, organization registration, qualification examination, organizational review, organizational review, social publicity and publication of the list and other sectors, they stood out from the registered 152 applicants and would independently and impartially supervise the cases which were handled by procuratorial organs and should be included in the scope of supervision in accordance with the authority and procedures.

Liu Zhiwei said in his speech, the people supervisor was not only an honor, but also a responsibility and mission. He hoped that everyone could cherish the honor and perform the duties according to law to promote the city's procuratorial organs to make positive contribution for justice.

Liu Zhiwei called for unifying thinking and profoundly grasping the important significance of the Central People's Government on the selection and management of people supervisors, accurately grasping the requirements for reform, and resolutely implementing it to ensure that the central government's reform accurately landed in Chenzhou; enhancing the level of performance, daring to supervise, strictly performing the duties according to law, and striving to improve the effectiveness of supervision.

Liu Zhiwei stressed that the judicial administrative organs and the procuratorial organs should strengthen their cooperation and perform their duties to strengthen their security, provide the people supervisors with their duties, and ensure the people supervisors to fully perform their duties according to law; further unify their thinking, enhance understanding and complement each other, work together to make all effort to reform the people supervisor system，and make new and greater contributions for advancing the justice of Chenzhou city and promoting to build Chenzhou under the rule of law.
