The city-scale industrial added value increased by 6.7%, including pharmaceutical manufacturing and equipment manufacturing added value, an increase of 108.2% and 40%, respectively, 101.5% and 33.3% higher than the growth rate of all the above-scale industrial added value.

In order to achieve industrial stability and progress, our city worked for the technological transformation of traditional industry and at the same time for the cultivation of new industries. The effect was obvious. In 2016, our city's investment in industrial technological transformation was 43.57 billion yuan. The relocation and technology transformation of Chenzhou Cigarette Factory, the integral relocation and transformation of Bada Glass, the graphite products project of Hunan Mingda Carbon and other major technological transformation projects have comprehensively started and a number of new production lines are accelerating layout.The integration into park work of melting industry in Yongxing County is accelerating to promote and 13 enterprises have been moved into the park at present. At the same time, our city is vigorously cultivating new materials, big data, new energy vehicles and other emerging industries. The provincial government has placed the Hunan Graphene Industrial Base into the Chenzhou High-tech Zone, the graphite purification project and graphite new materials R & D center invested 200 million yuan by the Southern Graphite have officially started, the graphene 10-ton class preparation project invested 80 million yuan by Hunan Guosheng Graphite Technology Co., Ltd. has produced the micro Graphene Nanoplatelets. East Lake Big Data Industrial Park is smoothly promoting. The first phase of the data center project invested 1.2 billion by Hunan Yunchao Information Technology Co., Ltd. has been completed and can be put into operation in March; the construction of Cloud Computing Center, Big Data Innovation Center and National Data Backup Center invested 1 billion by Inspur Group has comprehensively started. The OptimumNano new energy vehicles innovation alliance project invested 5 billion yuan has started to construct in Suxian Industrial Concentration Area; new energy vehicles charging pile research and development, and production projects invested by Linwu Hongye Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. have been put into production.

In addition, our city has started the manufacturing innovation and development work, built the city's manufacturing innovation and development group, and reached a cooperation intention with the Professor Li Zexiang and his team from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to speed up the city's manufacturing innovation and development.
