With the approach of Spring Festival, visiting relatives and friends, and leisure activities are frequent, passenger traffic increases in the expressway service areas and food consumption increases, etc. In order to effectively strengthen the food safety supervision in the expressway service areas and ensure the food security of drivers and passengers, the city Food and Drug Administration organized the city's system to carry out the centralized inspection of food safety supervision in the expressway service areas within jurisdiction from January 17 to 20.

Law enforcement officers carefully inspected whether the expressway service area strictly implemented the main responsibilities of food safety and managed without license and beyond the scope, at the same time guided the food business units in the expressway service areas to establish food safety management systems, implement the cable tickets and purchase inspection systems, and improve the food safety awareness and food safety knowledge level of practitioners. 24 food business households and 4 barbecue stalls in the express service areas were inspected and 2 order correction notices were issued in the activities.
