When reporters arrived at the construction site of Mount Mang Water Reservoir before the Chinese New Year, some technicians were still working on the stone quarry for testing the new devices.

It was introduced by Li Weijun who is the principal of the stone quarry that they have tested the new one-million-yuan device for many times during the break period. It aimed to produce better level stones with this new device.

Mount Mang Water Reservoir project consists of key project and irrigation project. This II grade project is covered with 1.89billion yuan budget investments and planned to be finished in 48 months. It was launched in May 2015 and enrolled into the list of 2015 Top 10 Water Reservoir Projects of China.

More than 10 workers are on duty during this CNY holiday. They can only express their best wishes of New Year to their family members and friends via phone.

Lei Wei who is the Director of Safety Department said to the reporters: “on the consideration of reunion with family members, all the staffs on duty during the holiday are Chenzhou local people. We will pay special attention on checking the potential risks during those days.” “We will stand on our posts on the holiday!”said Wang Guotian who is in charge of land acquisition and measuring.

“Some technicians tested and adjusted the devices during those days. We are preparing for the work after holiday,” said Zhou Jingfu who is the Chief Engineer of the Project Department.

The company prepared a rich Chinese New Year Eve Dinner for the workers who were on duty on that day.

Till January 2017, 773million yuan has been finished for this project, 391million yuan of which was done in 2016. 78 people from 19 families of Caizichong Village, Tiantang Town and 170 people from 40 families of Liu’s Village, Yao Minority Town of Mount Mang were resettled.2435.99mu land acquisition was done and 235million yuan were placed on the migration investment.
