Currently, Qiu Fenghan who is one of the poverty-stricken families of Xinjiang Village, Zhoumensi Town, Zixing City moved to a new house from his previous shabby mud bricks house. “We can spend the festival in new house this year!” gladly said by Qiu. On that day, some other 15 poverty-stricken families as Qiu’s moved to new houses as well.

Zixing City took special attention on resettlement poverty-alleviation from the beginning of accurate poverty alleviation. Following the specified principal and local situation, Zixing City figured out different effective methods to handle poverty alleviation work, especially for some remote areas suffered from poor natural condition.

In order to well carry out the relocation work, Zixing City worked out relative implementation rules and working plans. Reasonable house designs were worked out for Shuili Village of Xingning Town, Xinjiang Village and Lianfu Village of Zhoumensi Town by seizing the chance of improvement of beautiful rural villages. The poverty-stricken families built their houses based on their selected designs. Some supporting facilities as water supply, road, electricity, gas, and etc. were facilitated to their houses, which enabled the families to enjoy their new lives in convenient housing condition.

Till now, 594 people from 185 relocation poverty-stricken families were qualified with entry condition. 487 people of from 152 families resettled down, accounting for 82% of the total.
