It was reported that Liu Zhiren- Deputy Director of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Chenzhou City met Fu Qiyang- General Manager of China Huaneng Group, Hunan Branch and his team. The two parties shared their ideas on further cooperation.

China Huaneng Group which is a large scale state-owned enterprise is one of the largest energy groups of the world. It was ranked 217 place on the list of 2016 world’s top 500 enterprises. The group has already placed investments on the wind power project of Hankou, Guidong County. It is negotiating with Zixing, Rucheng, Anren, and some other counties of Chenzhou City on some more clear energy projects currently.

On the conference, Liu Zhiren expressed his warm greeting to Fu Qiyang and his team and sincerely appreciated the group’s contribution to the economic and social development of Chenzhou City. Liu Zhiren said strong friendship has been established between Huaneng Group and Chenzhou City after years cooperation. Currently, the new term of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government is trying great efforts on implementing the strategies of “driving by innovation, rising up by opening up” and “leading by industry, improving overall development”, and improving industry as the key priority of further economic development. Four “four-year action” concerned for the transformation and upgrading of industry, development of service industry, investment attraction, and development of key projects, especially the improvement of six industries as non-ferrous industry, cultural tourism, boutique exhibition and mineral gem, ecology, graphite, and new material are being fully promoted in the city. Chenzhou Government would try more efforts on serving the enterprise with sound investment condition.

Liu Zhiren stated that Chenzhou City was willing to deepen the cooperation with Huaneng Group and reach win-win development. He required that all departments should support Huaneng Group, Hunan Branch’s work in Chenzhou and serve it with good policies on its investment and new projects on the consideration of overall development of Chenzhou City. Liu also hoped the group would enhance the communication with Chenzhou City.

Fu Qiyang said Chenzhou City is a hot spot of investment for its advantages on location and resources. Fu also expressed his willing on placing investments in Chenzhou City especially on wind power, photovoltaic power, power distribution network, and etc., because the long-term sound cooperation with the city. Fu hoped Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Chenzhou Government can keep supporting the group’s work and reach win-win cooperation.
