Recently, the response letter of the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine(AQSIQ) to Hunan Provincial People's Government showed that at the application of Hunan Provincial People's Government, agreed in principle to build the imported meat nominated inspection field in Chenzhou, and requested the Chenzhou relevant departments to organize to do the preparatory work under the technical support of Hunan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and in accordance with the "AQSIQ notice on the further regulation of imported meat nominated port management".

In recent years, Municipal Committee and Municipal Government have attached great importance to export-oriented economic work and port business development。 The approval marked that Chenzhou port platform has been added a new function and had great benefits for the export-oriented economic development.

After the imported meat nominated inspection field completed and put into operation, it would promote the province's food and agricultural products processing, circulation and trade development, at the same time make Chenzhou become an important distribution center for imported meat and form of new economic growth point. It is an important measure to implement the supply-side reform of the State Council, but also an important way to adjust the export-oriented economic structure of Chenzhou.
